Reuters' May 1, 2026 investigation (corroborated by Cointelegraph, Iran International, and The Block, and independently mirrored in Treasury's own June 2 designation language) documents: Nobitex's actual founders are brothers Ali and Mohammad Kharrazi, registered in Nobitex's corporate filings under the alternate surname "Aghamir Mohammad Ali", obscuring the family link in professional and university life.
