  7. UK Lays New Iran Sanctions Regulations

    The Iran (Sanctions) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 (S.I. 2026/983) are laid before Parliament on September 8 and come into force on September 29, 2026.

  8. UN Fact-Finding Mission Report

    The FFM (A/HRC/63/61, advance version) finds that many gross human rights violations by Iran amount to crimes against humanity of murder, imprisonment, torture, and other inhumane acts. It also finds reasonable grounds to believe the United States committed a war crime in the February 28 strike on a school in Minab.

  9. Public Law 119-111 Signed

    The Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 becomes law, extending the Iran Sanctions Act.

  10. Argentina Charges Vahidi and Rezaei over AMIA

    Judge Rafecas orders IRGC commander-in-chief Ahmad Vahidi and Mohsen Rezaei tried in absentia for the 1994 AMIA bombing and orders an asset freeze of up to $500 million per defendant.
